Jones based on Hertz contact theory and the rigid ferrule hypothesis is proposed on the quasi dynamic method, slewing ring bearings used to calculate the rolling characteristics of bearing load distribution. This treatment results and actual situation although there are differences, but because the calculation method is simple, is still widely used in practical engineering ANSYS tutorial.
